A diary stored in an attic trunk for thirty years is discovered by Jesse, a seventeen year old girl and in it she reads about her grandmother Gabriel's adventure as she travels through a gate that takes her to a land of freecurrent magic, fantastic creatures and dragons who talk telepathically. Gabriel is visited by a handsome young warrior, Prince Theodore Wingmaster, who tells her she is destined to save his land from corruption. He persuades her to set aside her life as a homemaker and travel with him to Risen to become its next sorceress. Gabriel struggles as she becomes more deeply involved with the creatures of Risen and must decide her own future. When Jesse is attacked, she and her golden retriever must leave home and elude the police as she travels to the gate. During the journey to the cave in the desert where the lightning gate is located Jesse discovers that her own destiny is entwined with her grandmother's in ways that both excite and alarm her. Book 1 of 3.
Freecurrent II Descendants

Jesse and her dog travel through the lightning gate as she follows in her Grandmother Gabriel's footsteps to the land of Risen. The wisps of Elysia divert her to their land and grant her wisp magic to enhance her natural abilities as a sorceress and as a healer. She then finds herself on Risen and immediately bonds with a feisty dragon named Tempest. She seeks out her grandmother after a chance encounter with a corrupt sorcerer from Gabriel's past. They travel to Castle Gentlebreeze where Jesse meets a young man with gold eyes, a shape shifter and the Prince of Brightening. A spark is ignited. Jesse and Gabriel along with a small company of friends embark on a quest to discover why the dragons have suddenly disappeared. Jesse must risk her life in an attempt to rescue the lost dragons. Book 2 of 3 in the Freecurrent Series.
Freecurrent III Dynasty
Jesse returns to Earth as she chases Candaz in an attempt to keep him from bringing harm to her family. She is joined by Stephan and Nicholas, who find divergent paths as they encounter modern society and make very different choices. After an attempt to destroy the lightning gate, Candaz endeavors to take control of Risen with an evil plan to enslave the inhabitants using an addictive opium based elixir. Theo sets out to find a remedy for the addictive substance and discovers a remarkable link to Risen's past. Serek fights his own battle with the past as he returns to the forest and its savage creatures. A last ditch effort by Candaz to rule all of Risen must be challenged by Jesse and her friends as they struggle to restore harmony to the realm. Book 3 of 3.
